AM/FM Weather Band Clock Radio

The Jensen JEP-150 receives AM and FM stations plus 24 weather band channels for marine forecasts and emergency alerts. A 1.2 in. white LED display shows station and time data. Digital tuning stores 60 presets split evenly between AM and FM bands.

Home and portable listeners needing weather alerts

Suits users who want a combined clock radio and NOAA weather monitor with dual alarms and a sleep timer. Not for buyers who require Bluetooth streaming, smartphone charging ports or battery backup operation during power cuts.

24 weather band channels with alert

The single specification that decides fit is the inclusion of 24 dedicated weather band channels with automatic alert reception. Without this feature the unit would be a standard clock radio rather than an emergency information device.

Questions about this item

How do I install the JEP-150 clock radio and what step do people often miss?

Plug the unit into a mains socket, extend the FM wire antenna and position the AM loop for best reception, then press the Weather Band button to confirm the 24-hour alert tone sounds before relying on it.

What maintenance or replacement will the JEP-150 need over time?

Dust the 1.2-inch LED display and speaker grille periodically; no user-replaceable battery or lamp is mentioned, so the unit is designed to run without scheduled part changes.

What limit appears first during continuous use of the JEP-150?

The 60-preset memory (30 AM and 30 FM) fills up first, after which you must overwrite an existing slot to store another station.
