Portable weather radio for outdoor use

The Jensen JEP250 is a compact AM/FM radio designed for people who need reliable weather information away from mains power. It receives NOAA broadcasts around the clock and provides audible alarms with flashing LED indicators when alerts are issued. The blue back-lit LCD and foldable carrying handle make it practical for camping, boating or emergency kits.

NOAA weather alert reception

The single specification that determines suitability is the ability to receive instant 24 hour weather, marine forecasts and alert information broadcast by NOAA. A dedicated weather alert indicator triggers alarm sounds and LED warning lights that flash automatically when hazardous conditions are announced. Without this NOAA reception the unit would function only as a standard AM/FM radio.

Battery operation with built-in speaker

The radio runs on batteries for portable use and drives a built-in speaker for clear audio without headphones. A rotary telescopic antenna extends to improve reception in weak-signal areas. The dimmer control reduces display brightness to conserve power during extended listening sessions.
