Kastar AC Wall Charger for Sony NP-F Batteries

The Kastar AC wall charger replaces Sony BC-TRV, BC-VH1 and AC-VQH10 units. It accepts 100–240 V mains input and delivers 8.4 V at 600 mA to NP-FV50, NP-FV70 and NP-FV100 batteries. A foldable flat plug keeps the unit compact for travel. LED indication shows red while charging and green when the battery reaches full charge.

Charges NP-FV50 NP-FV70 NP-FV100 Batteries

The charger handles the three listed InfoLITHIUM packs used across dozens of Handycam and Action Cam models. It provides a single-bay charge cycle at 600 mA, so larger NP-FV100 cells take longer to reach full capacity. No battery is included in the pack, and the unit cannot charge two packs simultaneously. Users needing parallel charging or higher current must look elsewhere.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

The 8.4 V 600 mA output produces modest heat during a typical charge cycle. No fan is present, so operation is silent in normal indoor use. The wide 100–240 V input range allows direct connection worldwide without a separate transformer. The compact 3×2×1 inch enclosure remains cool to the touch under continuous charging load.
