Each cell weighs roughly 26.4 oz and measures 102 x 72 x 75.5 mm, making the set easy to transport for location work with Sony VENICE 2, A7S III or PMW-series camcorders. The integrated OLED panel shows voltage, remaining capacity and USB output status at a glance.

150 Wh capacity and runtime headroom

At 14.8 V and 6.8 Ah each battery stores 150 Wh, enough for extended takes on power-hungry cinema cameras or multiple accessories via the D-Tap port. The charger accepts 110-240 V AC and outputs 16.8 V at 3.0 A, replenishing a depleted pack in a few hours. Green and red LEDs indicate standby and charging states while the built-in MCU guards against over-charge, over-discharge, short circuit and overheat.

V-Mount ecosystem limits

The BP-150W fits any standard V-Mount plate but cannot be charged by the Sony BC-L70A quick charger, which only handles a single battery at a time. Compatibility lists include legacy BP-65H through BP-190W models and monitors such as the PVM-1741, yet cameras requiring a higher voltage rail or a proprietary connector will not work with this kit. Builders needing more than 300 Wh total or a Gold-Mount interface must look elsewhere.
