What the product is and who it is for

This Kastar bundle supplies a 3.7V 3200mAh lithium-ion battery and a matching AC wall charger for Canon VIXIA and LEGRIA camcorders. The charger accepts 100-240V input and delivers 4.2V at 600mA, with a foldable flat plug for compact storage. A red LED shows charging and green indicates a full cell.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Owners of the listed HF M, HF R and LEGRIA models can use this pack as a direct replacement or spare power source. Buyers whose cameras require a different battery form factor or voltage will not be able to use this unit. The single-battery pack also limits users who need multiple cells for extended shoots.

The specification that decides fit

The battery carries 11.84 Wh at 3.7V and fits the Canon BP-727, BP-718 and BP-709 battery slots. If your camcorder uses one of those part numbers the pack will work; otherwise it will not.
