Four-Bay Charger for Sony NP-FW50

The Kastar NP-FW50 charger holds up to four compatible batteries and charges them simultaneously. It accepts Micro-USB or USB Type-C input at 5 V 2–3 A, and a Type-C cable is included. Photographers using Sony mirrorless or Cyber-shot models can keep multiple packs ready without juggling single-slot chargers.

Power Input and Output Limits

The unit draws up to 15 W from any 5 V USB source and delivers 8.4 V at 800 mA per slot when one or two batteries are inserted, dropping to 500 mA per slot with three or four batteries. Charge time therefore rises as more cells are added, and a low-current USB port may not sustain the full rate.

Simple Setup with Plate Swaps

Batteries slide into the dedicated plates and the LCD shows capacity and status for each bay. The plates can be exchanged to fit other battery types, but only NP-FW50 plates are supplied. Users needing to charge different formats must obtain the correct plates separately.
