Delivers 5 V 2.4 A power and 1000 Mbps data over Ethernet up to 400 ft, replacing AC adapters for micro-USB devices like Raspberry Pi 3B+ or security cameras
The KEHIPI U515902 is a gigabit PoE splitter that delivers 5 V at 2.4 A through a micro USB connector. It separates power and data from a single Ethernet cable for devices such as Raspberry Pi 3B+, Echo Dot, micro USB security cameras and tablets.
This splitter replaces an individual AC adapter when an IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE injector or switch is already present. The jump is worthwhile for installations up to 400 feet from a power outlet where running a single Ethernet cable is simpler than adding mains wiring.
It suits builders who want to power micro USB hardware without occupying GPIO pins or blocking a Raspberry Pi case fan or add-on screen. Buyers without an 802.3af/at PoE source or who require a different voltage or connector should look at other options.

The splitter measures 8.0 in x 1.5 in x 5.0 in and weighs 0.06 kg, allowing it to sit alongside a Raspberry Pi 3B+ without using GPIO pins or blocking a fan-equipped case.
Connect the splitter between an IEEE 802.3af/at compliant PoE injector or switch and the micro-USB device; the step users miss is confirming the upstream equipment is standard PoE, because passive injectors can over-volt and damage the splitter.
No routine maintenance is required; the only future consideration is ensuring any replacement PoE injector or switch remains IEEE 802.3af/at compliant so the splitter continues to negotiate power safely.
