Ultra-compact 4CH DVR system

The KEHIPI MINI-K03 is a wired surveillance kit that ships with a 4-channel mini DVR and two 1080p dome cameras. It is built for homeowners or small-business owners who need a discreet, expandable system that records continuously without a subscription. The DVR measures 120 mm by 95 mm by 28 mm, so it fits in tight spaces while supporting up to four cameras.

Wired set-up and storage notes

Each camera connects to the DVR with a cable, so plan cable routes before mounting the domes. The recorder has no internal hard drive; you must add an SD card or an external HDD to store footage. H.265+ compression reduces file sizes by roughly 80 percent compared with H.264, extending recording time on whatever media you install. The free XMEYE app handles remote viewing once the DVR is linked to your router.

Recording limits and night range

Video is captured at 1080p resolution, and the cameras provide up to 60 ft of night vision in darkness. Motion detection distinguishes people, vehicles and objects to cut false alerts, while privacy zones let you mask sensitive areas. Continuous 24/7 recording overwrites the oldest files automatically when the storage fills. Remote access works over Wi-Fi or cellular data on iOS, Android and PC clients.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the DVR is recording at 1080p after setup?

Open the XMEYE app, select live view, and check that the resolution indicator shows 1080p while playback shows continuous footage with H.265+ compression active.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The box contains the 120mm x 95mm x 28mm 4CH Mini DVR and two 1080p Mini Dome cameras with 60ft night vision; you must purchase an SD card or external HDD for storage.

Should I start with the 2 included cameras or expand to 4 channels?

Begin with the two supplied dome cameras for core coverage, then add up to two more compatible cameras later using the spare channels on the 4CH DVR.
