Fixed 20V PD decoy module
KEHIPI PDC004 is a fixed 20V USB-C Power Delivery decoy module that uses a 2721 hardware PD chip to negotiate a 20V contract up to 5A from a compliant PD source. The module passes the negotiated voltage directly to the output and cannot change voltage or be firmware-upgraded. It is supplied in a pack of five units for makers and engineers who need a repeatable 20V rail.
Makers needing a single 20V rail.
The module suits developers powering electronic projects, converting legacy hardware to USB-C input, or testing PD sources where a fixed 20V 5A contract is required. It will not suit projects that need 5V, 9V, 12V or any other voltage rail, nor will it work with chargers that only support Qualcomm Quick Charge or lack the requested 20V PDO. An electronically marked Type-C cable is required for currents above 3A.
2721 hardware PD chip locks voltage to 20V
The 2721 hardware PD chip performs the PD negotiation and fixes the output at 20V with no provision for voltage selection or firmware updates. Operating temperature range is -25 to 85°C at 5 to 95% RH, and the board measures 17.6 by 10.2 by 4.2 mm.

Questions about this item
How do I install the PDC004 module and which step is most often missed?
Connect the Type-C female input to a USB PD power source using an electronically marked cable for currents above 3A; the step often missed is confirming the charger actually supports 20V output, otherwise it will fall back to a lower voltage.
What maintenance or replacement will the PDC004 module need later?
The module uses a fixed 2721 hardware PD chip that cannot be upgraded or re-flashed; if the voltage requirement changes or the chip fails, the entire decoy must be replaced.
What limit appears first during sustained use of the PDC004 module?
The operating temperature range tops out at 85°C; prolonged loads near the 5A rating in warm enclosures will hit this thermal ceiling before any electrical limit.
