The KEHIPI USB-C to IDE SATA adapter kit connects 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch IDE or SATA hard drives and optical drives to a computer through a USB 3.0 Type-C port. It suits technicians and home users who need to recover data, duplicate disks or access legacy drives without installing them internally. The package includes a 12V 2A power supply and a 4-pin power cable for 3.5-inch IDE devices.

Build Integration

The adapter draws power from the included 12V 2A unit, freeing the host USB port from supplying drive current. A 40-pin and a 44-pin IDE connector plus a SATA III connector cover desktop and laptop drives, while an on-off switch protects drives during hot-swap operations. No driver installation is required on Windows XP through 10, Mac OS 10 or higher, or Linux.

Sustained Operation
