Compact micro-cut shredder for home offices

The Kensington K52051AM OfficeAssist A3000-HS is a micro-cut shredder designed for continuous use in a home office. It reduces documents to 0.079 in by 0.591 in particles meeting the P-5 security level. The unit handles paper, staples, paper clips, credit cards, junk mail, glossy paper, CDs and DVDs. Its white finish fits a clean desk setup.

Suits daily document disposal.

This shredder suits users who need uninterrupted, high-security destruction of mixed media for up to one hour per session. It feeds eight sheets per pass and accepts staples and clips without pre-sorting. Buyers who need higher sheet capacity, longer continuous cycles or a larger waste bin for departmental use should look at a different class of machine.

Floor-standing unit requiring a standard outlet

The shredder measures 16.14 in wide, 18.3 in deep and 30.51 in high, so it sits on the floor beside a desk. It needs a nearby mains socket and enough space in front to pull out the waste bin for emptying. No special wiring, networking or ventilation ducting is required. The two-year parts coverage supports the cutting mechanism.
