130W USB-C Charger for Dell XPS Precision Latitude

This 130W USB-C power adapter replaces the original Dell charger for XPS 15, XPS 17, Precision and Latitude models. It delivers 20V at 6.5A through a USB-C connector and accepts 100 to 240V input at 50 to 60Hz. The unit is CE, FCC and RoHS certified.

Sustained 130W output with USB-C PD

The adapter maintains a continuous 130W output under load rather than peaking briefly, and it is backwards compatible with 90W and 65W USB-C Dell laptops. Input voltage auto-ranges from 100 to 240V at 50 to 60Hz for worldwide use. Safety certifications cover continuous operation.

USB-C connector and 20V 6.5A output

The single deciding specification is the USB-C connector supplying 20V at 6.5A for 130W total power. Laptops that charge only through a barrel jack or require a different voltage profile cannot use this adapter. Check your model’s charging port before ordering.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 130W USB-C charger produce when powering a Dell XPS 15 9520 all day?

The adapter runs silently with no fan and meets CE FCC ROHS safety standards. Typical warmth is comparable to other 130W bricks under continuous load.

Which cable do I need to connect this charger to a Precision 5550?

The unit has a fixed USB-C output connector so no separate cable is required. Plug the USB-C tip directly into the Precision 5550 charging port.

Will this 130W adapter safely charge an older Latitude 7410 that originally used a 65W barrel charger?

Yes. The charger negotiates 20V or 5V over USB-C and is listed as compatible with 65W and 90W models including the Latitude 7410.
