Capacity and Interface

The KINGSMAN GAMING SK350 is a 2TB internal solid-state drive built for consumer desktops and laptops. It uses a standard 2.5 inch form factor and connects through the SATA interface with 3D NAND memory components.

SATA Throughput Limits

Sequential read speeds reach up to 560 MBps and sequential writes up to 520 MBps. These figures represent the practical ceiling of the SATA III bus, so the drive will not exceed this bandwidth regardless of workload.

Compatibility Checks

Verify that your system has a free 2.5 inch drive bay and an available SATA data and power connection. The drive is rated for 1400TB written and an MTBF of 1000000 hours for long-term reliability.

Questions about this item

Will this 2.5 inch SATA drive fit in my laptop caddy?

The drive uses the standard 2.5 inch form factor and SATA connectors, so it fits any laptop or desktop bay built for 2.5 inch SATA drives.

What do the 560 MB/s read and 520 MB/s write figures mean for daily use?

They indicate the maximum sequential transfer rates over the SATA III interface, so large file copies and game loads will run at near those speeds.

How much data can I write before the 1400 TBW rating is reached?

The 1400 TBW rating means you could write roughly 1.4 petabytes of data over the drive's lifetime, which is far beyond typical consumer workloads.
