  • Flexible bi-wire and bi-amp connection options

Dual-input floor-standing speaker

The Klipsch RP-5000FBII is a single floor-standing speaker designed for home audio systems. Dual input terminals allow bi-wiring or bi-amping configurations for flexible integration. Its ebony finish suits traditional listening rooms and dedicated stereo setups.

Larger horn and Cerametallic woofers

Increased horn size expands the soundstage and improves directivity toward the listening area. Cerametallic woofers and a vented LTS titanium tweeter combine for detailed high-frequency reproduction. Dual rear-firing Tractrix ports extend low-frequency response within the cabinet volume.

Rear-port placement constraints

Bass-reflex ports fire rearward, so positioning close to a wall alters low-frequency balance. Bi-wiring benefit depends on amplifier capability and cable quality, not the speaker alone. Buyers needing built-in amplification or wireless connectivity must look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the dual input terminals let me bi-amp the RP-5000FBII with my existing stereo amplifier?

Yes, the speaker provides dual binding posts so you can connect separate amplifier channels for bi-amping or use jumpers for a single cable run.

How can I verify the Tractrix ports are tuned correctly once the speakers are positioned?

Play bass-heavy material and listen for clean, extended low frequencies without boominess; the dual chamber rear-firing ports are designed to deliver smooth in-room response.

Does the box include speaker cables or banana plugs for the dual terminals?

The package contains the floor-standing speaker only; cables, banana plugs or spade connectors must be purchased separately.
