Red Oak powered speaker pair

The Klipsch Fives II are a 2.1 channel bookshelf pair finished in Red Oak veneer over MDF. Each cabinet houses a 5.25 inch cerametallic woofer and a titanium tweeter on a Tractrix horn. A one-piece BMC baffle adds rigidity while a rear-firing bass-reflex port extends low-frequency response. The system is sold new as a matched stereo pair.

Buyers needing Dolby Atmos height effects without

These speakers decode Dolby Atmos and create virtual height channels for immersive movie playback. They also suit vinyl listeners with a dedicated phono input and high-resolution streamers through 96 kHz 24-bit USB-C audio. Buyers who want more storage or a separate subwoofer output for larger rooms should look at something else.

HDMI eARC and calibration microphone simplify

The box includes a power cord, remote control, speaker cable and an HDMI cable for single-cable TV connection with CEC control. An on-board 5-band EQ, dialogue enhancement and a supplied calibration microphone let you tune the response to the room. Optical, coaxial, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi inputs cover legacy and wireless sources alike.

Questions about this item

Does my TV need an HDMI ARC port to use the single-cable connection?

Yes, the speakers use HDMI ARC/eARC with CEC so a compatible TV port is required for that one-cable setup.

Can I keep my older turntable connected through the phono input while also using the HDMI input for TV?

Yes, the speakers provide a dedicated RCA phono input alongside HDMI, optical, coaxial and analogue RCA so multiple sources stay connected.

How do I confirm the Dolby Atmos virtual height channels are active after setup?

Play Atmos content and listen for overhead effects; the remote lets you select Movie mode which engages the virtual height processing.
