Sheetfed document scanner with dual CCD, 600 dpi optical resolution, 60 ppm colour speed and a 100-sheet ADF handling IDs and long pages up to 4,064 mm
The Kodak i2800 (1552181) is a sheetfed document scanner built for departments that process thousands of pages each day. Dual CCD sensors capture both sides of a page in one pass at 600 x 600 dpi optical resolution with 48-bit colour depth. A 100-sheet automatic document feeder handles standard paper down to small ID and embossed cards.
The scanner connects through a single USB 2.0 port with the cable supplied, drawing up to 32 watts while scanning and less than 0.35 watts when off. Its chassis measures 330 mm wide by 162 mm deep by 246 mm high without trays, so it fits on a typical desk without requiring a dedicated workstation or external power brick beyond the internal 100-240 V supply.
Bundled applications provide image clean-up, automatic orientation, blank-page removal and barcode recognition to streamline batch workflows. Drivers support Windows XP through Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 x64 and Linux Ubuntu 10.04.1, allowing integration with existing document-management systems without additional licence purchases.
