An 18-piece soldering kit with a 60 W iron adjustable from 180 °C to 480 °C, plus a digital multimeter and pen-style voltage tester
This 60W adjustable soldering iron kit includes a digital multimeter, five tips, desoldering pump, solder wick, tweezers, wire cutter, electronic wire, solder paste, heat shrink tubing, pen-shaped screwdriver, electric pen tester and a PU carry bag. It targets electronics hobbyists, DIY repairers and beginners learning circuit work who want a single package for soldering and basic electrical testing.
Instead of buying a standalone soldering station and a separate multimeter, this kit combines temperature-controlled soldering from 180°C to 480°C with AC/DC voltage, DC current, resistance and diode measurement plus non-contact AC voltage detection. The jump is worth it when you need both soldering capability and circuit verification in one portable set for board repair, appliance fixes or jewellery work.
The kit requires a standard mains outlet for the iron and a 9V battery for the multimeter, neither of which are included. It frees up bench space by consolidating iron stand, tip storage, hand tools and test gear into the supplied carry bag, making it practical for field service, home workshops or educational environments where a full station would be excessive.

The kit includes a soldering iron stand with sponge; allow enough flat space for the stand plus room to rest the iron safely when hot.
Plug in the iron, turn the temperature dial to the desired setting, wait for the tip to reach temperature, then begin soldering; skipping the warm-up leads to cold joints.
The fine-point tips oxidise fastest; loosen the retaining nut while the iron is cool, replace the tip, then retighten before reheating.
