Compact emergency radio

The Lanshanchu ALERTSYNC is a pocket-sized weather radio that receives AM, FM and NOAA WB bands so users can hear emergency alerts and regular broadcasts during power outages or while camping. It weighs 245 grams and measures 5.7 x 2.7 x 2.3 inches, making it easy to store in a bag or vehicle.

Suits off-grid and backup needs

This radio suits anyone who wants a self-powered device for storms, blackouts or remote trips where mains power is unavailable. It is not for buyers who need internet streaming, Bluetooth audio or a larger battery bank to run multiple devices for days.

Three rechargeable power sources

The unit runs from a built-in 2000mAh Li-ion battery that can be topped up by a solar panel, a hand crank or an external corded-electric supply, and four LED indicators show the charge level at 25 50 75 100 percent.

Questions about this item

What comes with the ALERTSYNC and what must I buy separately?

The radio ships with the unit itself, a USB-C charging cable and an integrated 2000mAh Li-ion battery. No extra batteries or cables are required for solar, hand-crank or USB charging.

Which version of the ALERTSYNC should I choose?

Only one version exists — model ALERTSYNC with a 2000mAh battery, AM/FM/WB tuner, 1 W speaker, IPX3 splash resistance and a 3-mode LED flashlight.

How long will the 2000mAh battery run the 1 W speaker in a real power cut?

At full volume the 1 W output draws roughly 1 W, so the 2000mAh pack can keep the radio playing for about two hours; lower volume or flashlight-only use stretches that considerably.
