Compact All-in-One for Business

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny combines a 22 inch FHD IPS display with an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700 hexa-core processor, 32 GB DDR4 memory and dual SSD storage in a space-saving micro form factor. It ships with Windows 10 Pro, USB keyboard and mouse included.

Simple Setup with Dongle Wi-Fi

Installation is straightforward: connect power and peripherals, then start working. Wireless connectivity relies on a supplied USB 5 GHz capable dongle rather than an internal card, so a free USB port is required and signal strength depends on placement. The DVD-ROM drive uses a standard tray mechanism.

Hexa-Core i7-8700 Defines Performance

The single specification that determines suitability is the Intel Core i7-8700 processor with six cores, twelve threads, 12 MB cache and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.60 GHz. Buyers who need discrete graphics, user-upgradeable graphics or a higher core count should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the i7-8700 is reaching its 4.6 GHz turbo speed after setup?

Open Windows Task Manager, select the Performance tab, and watch the CPU clock speed while running a heavy load; it should show frequencies up to 4.6 GHz on the six cores.

What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The package includes the ThinkCentre M720q Tiny desktop, 22-inch FHD IPS monitor, USB keyboard, USB mouse, DVD-ROM drive, USB Wi-Fi/Bluetooth dongle, and Windows 10 Pro pre-installed; no extra components are required for basic operation.

Which storage configuration should I choose between the 512 GB M.2 SSD and the 1 TB SSD?

This unit already combines both drives — the 512 GB M.2 SSD holds the operating system and the 1 TB SSD provides additional storage, so no choice between them is needed.
