Compact Business Desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny desktop arrives new with an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700 hexa-core processor running at 3.20 GHz up to 4.60 GHz. It includes 32 GB of DDR4 UDIMM memory, a 128 GB M.2 SSD for the OS and a 1 TB SSD for storage, plus Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. A DVD-ROM drive, USB keyboard and mouse are also supplied.

Space-Saving Office Fit

This micro-form-factor PC suits offices that need quiet, low-footprint machines for productivity apps, web workloads and multi-monitor setups. Buyers who want more storage bays, discrete graphics performance or user-upgradeable CPU sockets should look at larger tower or workstation designs instead.

Build Integration

The tiny chassis frees desk space and mounts behind compatible monitors using a VESA bracket. It requires only a standard power cable and external display, keyboard and mouse connections. The included USB Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle provides wireless connectivity without internal antenna routing.

Questions about this item

What display connection does the ThinkCentre M720q require since no monitor is included?

The system uses Intel UHD Graphics with standard video outputs, so any monitor with a compatible HDMI, DisplayPort or VGA input will work.

Will the pre-installed Windows 10 Pro recognise my older USB 2.0 keyboard and mouse if I prefer them over the included set?

Yes, the USB ports support legacy USB 2.0 devices, so older keyboards and mice will function without extra drivers.

How can I confirm the i7-8700 is reaching its 4.60 GHz turbo speed after setup?

Open Task Manager’s Performance tab or a tool like HWMonitor and watch the core clocks while running a heavy single-thread load.
