Tiny business desktop for office workloads

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q packs an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700 hexa-core processor with 12 MB cache and turbo up to 4.60 GHz into a micro form factor chassis. 32 GB of DDR4 UDIMM memory and a dual-drive layout of 512 GB M.2 SSD plus 1 TB hard drive give quick boot times and ample local storage. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed and a USB keyboard and mouse are included for immediate deployment.

Simple drop-in deployment

The unit arrives fully assembled so installation means only connecting power, display and network cables. The tiny chassis limits internal expansion to the existing memory slots and storage bays; there is no room for a discrete graphics card or additional full-size cards. The USB Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle plugs into any free port but may block an adjacent socket on tight port clusters.

Verify your peripherals and mounting

Confirm your monitor uses a video input supported by the integrated Intel UHD Graphics outputs on this model. Ensure the supplied USB keyboard and mouse meet your ergonomic needs or plan replacements. The micro case can sit on a desk or be VESA-mounted behind a display, so check that your workspace or mount has sufficient clearance for the chassis dimensions and cable routing.
