Compact Business Desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny is a micro-form-factor desktop built around an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700 hexa-core processor running at 3.20 GHz with turbo up to 4.60 GHz. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2.5-inch 512 GB SSD, plus Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. A USB keyboard and mouse are included for immediate setup.

Installation Notes

The unit arrives ready to run; connect power, display and peripherals to start. Memory uses 240-pin DDR4 DIMM slots supporting up to 32 GB total, so future upgrades are straightforward. Wireless connectivity is provided by an external USB dongle rather than an internal card, which simplifies service but occupies a port.

Key Specification

The 65 W hexa-core i7-8700 with 12 MB cache delivers strong multi-threaded performance for office workloads in a chassis small enough to mount behind a monitor. Buyers who need discrete graphics or more than two drive bays should consider larger form factors.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Intel Core i7-8700 is reaching its 4.60 GHz turbo speed after setup?

Open Task Manager in Windows 10 Pro, select the Performance tab, and watch the CPU clock while running a heavy load; it should climb toward 4.60 GHz when thermal headroom allows.

What accessories are included and what must I add to start working?

The box contains the Tiny desktop, a Lenovo USB keyboard, a Lenovo USB mouse, a USB Wi-Fi/Bluetooth dongle, and Windows 10 Pro pre-installed; you only need to supply a monitor and power cable.

Which memory configuration should I choose if I want to expand later?

The system ships with 8 GB DDR4 UDIMM and supports up to 32 GB total, so adding one or two matching DDR4 modules will reach the maximum capacity.
