Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s Small Form Desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s is a compact business desktop built for office environments. It runs on a six-core Intel i5-8500 processor at 3.0 GHz with 16GB DDR4 memory. A 2TB NVMe PCIe SSD provides fast storage. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This desktop suits users needing a small-footprint PC for general productivity and multitasking. It is not for buyers who need discrete graphics performance, internal expansion slots, or built-in wireless connectivity. The Grade B condition means visible cosmetic wear is present.

2TB NVMe PCIe SSD storage capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 2TB NVMe PCIe SSD. It determines both the total space available and the drive interface the motherboard supports. Verify that your workload fits within this capacity and that any future drive upgrades match the NVMe protocol.

Questions about this item

What does the 3.0 GHz base clock mean for everyday workloads?

The six-core i5-8500 runs at 3.0 GHz across all cores, giving steady throughput for office apps, web browsing and light multitasking without relying on turbo boost.

What does the USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port actually deliver?

One front-facing USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port provides 5 Gbps data transfer for external SSDs, docks or phone tethering; it does not carry video or power delivery.

Will a standard low-profile graphics card fit in the M720s chassis?

The small form factor case accepts half-height, single-slot expansion cards; full-height or dual-slot cards will not fit.
