Compact business desktop for office workloads

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s is a small-form-factor desktop built around an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor reaching 4.10 GHz. With 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout of 256 GB M.2 SSD plus 1 TB SSD, it targets professionals who need responsive multitasking and fast boot times in a space-saving chassis. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

SFF chassis with wired peripherals and wireless

The black SFF case fits tight desk spaces while providing a DVD-ROM drive for legacy media. A USB dongle adds 5 GHz-capable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth without internal antenna routing. Included USB keyboard and mouse mean the system is ready to work straight from unboxing, and the 65 W processor keeps thermal demands modest for the compact enclosure.

Dual SSD storage and integrated graphics

The 256 GB M.2 drive holds the operating system and applications while the 1 TB SSD stores large project files, eliminating the need for a mechanical hard drive. Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives up to two displays for office apps and video playback. Buyers who need discrete GPU performance or more than two video outputs should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What M.2 slot does the 256 GB drive use?

The 256 GB SSD occupies the M.2 slot inside the SFF chassis; the 1 TB SSD uses a separate 2.5-inch bay.

What clearance does the SFF case require for the CPU cooler?

The small-form-factor chassis limits cooler height to the stock low-profile heatsink; no tower cooler will fit.

How is the wireless dongle installed?

Plug the supplied USB dongle into any free USB port; Windows 11 Pro installs the driver automatically.
