Check ports, memory ceiling and colour

Verify that the single Thunderbolt 3 port, three USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 ports, HDMI 1.4b and RJ-45 Ethernet meet your docking and peripheral needs. The 40 GB configuration uses 8 GB soldered plus one 32 GB module, leaving zero free slots; maximum supported memory is 48 GB. Units ship in either black or silver chassis.

Thermals, noise and power in daily use

Integrated Intel UHD Graphics shares system memory, keeping heat output modest during office workloads and video playback. The included OEM AC adapter supplies sufficient power for the 15 W base processor and storage without fan noise becoming intrusive in quiet rooms. Heavy sustained loads will raise surface temperatures and fan speed.

Questions about this item

Does the 2 TB SSD and 40 GB RAM come installed or do I need to add them?

The laptop ships with a 2 TB SSD and 40 GB DDR4-2666 already fitted, so no extra storage or memory purchase is required.

Why choose the i7-10510U with 40 GB instead of a lower-spec T15?

The 10th Gen i7-10510U reaches 4.40 GHz turbo with four cores, and the 40 GB (8 GB soldered plus one 32 GB module) hits the 48 GB ceiling, ideal for heavy multitasking.

How does the 4.40 GHz turbo help everyday workloads?

The quad-core processor can burst to 4.40 GHz for short periods, speeding up single-thread tasks such as spreadsheet recalculation or app launch while staying within its thermal envelope.
