ThinkPad T460 14" Ultrabook

The Lenovo ThinkPad T460 is a 14.0 inch ultrabook built for professionals who need a durable, mobile workstation. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor with 16 GB DDR3 memory and a 1 TB SSD. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 drives the 1920 x 1080 FHD display.

Included charger and battery only

The package provides the laptop, its charger and the internal battery. No docking station, external mouse or recovery media are supplied. The 1 TB SSD and 16 GB DDR3 are already installed, so there are no extra storage or memory modules to add. Windows 10 Pro is pre-loaded and activated.

Simple setup with cosmetic wear

Power on, accept the Windows 10 Pro licence and the machine is ready. Grade B condition means visible scratches, surface marks or shiny keyboard keys are present. The fingerprint reader is absent on this unit. Buyers who need a pristine exterior or biometric login should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Is the 1 TB SSD in the ThinkPad T460 user-replaceable if it fails later?

The 1 TB SSD can be swapped by removing the bottom cover and releasing the single retention screw.

What limits sustained performance on the Core i7-6600U during long workloads?

The dual-core 2.60 GHz processor with 3 MB cache will hit its thermal ceiling before the 16 GB DDR3 memory saturates.

How loud and hot does the T460 get when running all day on the 14.0" FHD panel?

The magnesium chassis and carbon-fiber lid dissipate heat from the Intel HD Graphics 520, keeping fan noise low during typical office use.
