Questions about this item

Does this ThinkPad T480 include an operating system so I can use it right away?

The laptop ships with no operating system installed, so you must provide and install your own copy of Windows or another OS before you can use it.

Can I keep my existing 2.5" SATA drive and add it alongside the new 500GB SSD?

The 500GB SSD occupies the 2.5" SATA bay; the specifications list only one such bay, so a second 2.5" drive cannot be fitted internally.

How can I verify the Intel Core i5-7300U is reaching its 3.50 GHz turbo frequency under load?

Open Task Manager or a monitoring tool while running a demanding task and watch the CPU frequency climb to 3.50 GHz on the performance tab.
