Ready-to-work Ultrabook

This Lenovo ThinkPad T480 or T490 arrives with Windows 11 Pro installed and a 14.0 inch FHD touchscreen. The 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8250U quad-core processor runs at 1.6 GHz with 6 MB L2 cache. 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SSD provide responsive multitasking and fast boot times.

Step up from dual-core or HDD machines

Replacing an older dual-core notebook or a hard-drive system gives a clear jump in everyday speed. The quad-core CPU and solid-state storage cut application load times and make multi-window work feel smooth. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles office graphics and video playback without a discrete GPU.

Handles office suites.

The 512 GB drive holds the OS, applications and a large document library with room to spare. 16 GB DDR4 keeps dozens of browser tabs and productivity apps open simultaneously. Heavy video editing, 3D rendering or modern gaming will exceed the integrated graphics and thermal envelope.
