Portable productivity machine

The Lenovo ThinkPad T480s is a 14.0 inch ultrabook built around an 8th generation Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor running at 1.90 GHz with a 4.20 GHz boost. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB SSD provide responsive multitasking and fast boot times. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed on the device.

Connectivity and expansion

Two USB 3.1 Gen1 ports and two USB Type-C ports handle data transfer, DisplayPort output and power delivery. An HDMI port adds a second external display option. Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth 4.1 manage wireless networking and peripherals. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the internal 1920 x 1080 IPS touchscreen and external monitors without a discrete GPU.

Ideal for mobile professionals

This configuration suits workers who need a lightweight 14 inch chassis with touch input, all-day battery potential and enough RAM for office suites and video calls. Buyers who want more storage than 256 GB or who require a dedicated graphics card for 3D rendering should look at other models. The soldered memory layout also limits future upgrades beyond the single SSD slot.
