14" FHD Touch Ultrabook

The Lenovo ThinkPad T490 is a 14.0 inch FHD touchscreen ultrabook powered by an Intel Core i7-8550U quad-core processor with 8MB L2 cache. It ships with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 128 GB SSD running Windows 11 Pro. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 IPS panel.

Mobile professionals needing touch input

This configuration suits users who want a lightweight 14 inch touchscreen ultrabook with a quad-core i7 processor and 16 GB of RAM for office productivity and web-based workflows. Buyers who need a discrete GPU for creative rendering or gaming should look elsewhere. Those requiring more than 128 GB of internal storage or a larger display will need a different model.

128 GB SSD capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 128 GB solid-state drive. It provides fast boot and application loading but offers limited space for large media libraries, virtual machines or extensive local datasets. Users with modest storage needs can rely on cloud services or external drives, while heavier workloads will require a larger capacity configuration.
