15.6-inch FHD touchscreen ThinkPad T570

The Lenovo ThinkPad T570 is a 15.6-inch laptop with a 1920 x 1080 IPS touchscreen. It runs on a dual-core Intel Core i5-7300U processor at 2.6 GHz with Intel HD Graphics 620. Check ports, power and OS requirements

Verify your peripherals match the available connections: two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one always-on USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A port, and one USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 port with Power Delivery 2.0 and DisplayPort Alt Mode. The laptop ships with Windows 10 Pro; confirm this operating system meets your software licensing or compatibility needs. There is no optical drive, so external media requires a USB adapter.

Windows 10 Pro and USB-C versatility change daily

A clean Windows 10 Pro installation removes typical manufacturer bloatware for a faster, secure start. The USB-C port supports Thunderbolt 3 accessories, external displays via DisplayPort Alt Mode, and Power Delivery 2.0 charging from compatible adapters. The always-on USB port charges phones or accessories even while the laptop sleeps. Military-grade testing (12 tests, 200+ checks) ensures physical durability for mobile work.

Questions about this item

Does the 128 GB SSD leave room for a second drive, or do I need to buy an external one?

The T570 ships with a single 128 GB SSD and no mechanical hard drive; the chassis has no second 2.5-inch bay, so extra capacity requires an external USB drive or a larger single SSD replacement.

Should I pick the 15.6 inch FHD touchscreen or the non-touch version?

Choose the touchscreen if you need pen or finger input on the 1920 x 1080 IPS panel; the non-touch model uses the same resolution and size but omits the digitiser layer.

Will the Intel HD 620 graphics handle 1080p video editing on the 15.6 inch screen?

The integrated HD 620 decodes 1080p smoothly and manages light timeline scrubbing, but rendering and effects rely on the dual-core i5-7300U, so expect longer exports than on a discrete GPU.
