21X Auto Tracking Camera

The Lexmark PTR323NV2 is a 4K network camera designed for indoor surveillance and presentation capture. It uses automatic tracking to follow a presenter across a stage or meeting room. The device suits lecture halls, conference spaces and houses of worship where hands-free operation is required.

Suited for single-presenter tracking

This camera fits installations that need automatic switching between presenter and zone modes. It is not for buyers who need multi-camera production switching, outdoor weather resistance, or thermal imaging capabilities. The unit also lacks built-in recording storage, so a separate NVR or server is necessary.

21X optical zoom with preset zones

The 21X zoom lets operators frame a speaker from the back of a large room while preset zones cover whiteboards or display walls. Manual follow via remote or web UI adds a second presenter on demand. Digital zoom beyond the optical range reduces detail, so very wide rooms may need a second camera position.

Questions about this item

Does the camera require a PoE switch or injector to power it?

The camera is a network device, so it needs a powered Ethernet connection — either a PoE switch or a separate PoE injector — plus a router or NVR to handle the IP stream.

Can I keep my existing 1080p NVR and just add this 4K unit?

Yes, the camera streams standard RTSP video that a 1080p recorder can accept, though the recorder will downscale the 4K feed to its own maximum resolution.

How can I verify the 21× optical zoom is tracking correctly after installation?

Open the web UI, enable auto-tracking, walk through the field of view and confirm the lens smoothly zooms and pans to keep you centred without manual intervention.
