4K PTZ Camera with 24x Optical Zoom

The Panasonic AW-UE40KPJ5 is a 4K PTZ network camera designed for professional video production and live streaming. It features a 24x optical zoom lens and built-in auto tracking to follow subjects automatically. The camera outputs 4K resolution video over IP and HDMI for flexible integration.

Suited for Automated Tracking and 4K Output

This camera suits operators who need hands-free subject tracking during lectures, conferences or worship services. It also fits workflows requiring simultaneous IP streaming and HDMI output at 4K. Buyers who need higher zoom ranges or specialised low-light performance should evaluate alternative models.

24x Optical Zoom Defines Framing Reach

The 24x optical zoom is the specification that determines how tightly the camera can frame distant subjects without digital cropping. At the wide end it captures a broad field of view, while the telephoto end reaches across large auditoriums or stages. Verify that this zoom range matches the distance between camera position and subject before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Will the AW-UE40KPJ5 integrate with my existing HDMI switcher and 1080p monitors?

The camera outputs 4K and 1080p over HDMI so it connects directly to an HDMI switcher and feeds 1920 x 1080 monitors without scaling issues.

How can I verify the 24x optical zoom and auto-tracking are functioning after installation?

Open the web UI on Windows 10 or Mac OS 10.15, command a zoom move and watch the lens extend smoothly; enable auto-tracking and walk across the frame to confirm the camera follows you.

Does the box include an HDMI cable and a PoE injector or must I buy them separately?

The package contains the black PTZ camera unit and mounting hardware; an HDMI cable and a PoE injector or powered switch are not included and must be purchased separately.
