Compact magnetic speaker for on-the-go listening

The LFS FLS-196 is a 5 W Bluetooth speaker measuring 1.8 in x 1.8 in x 1.7 in and weighing 0.19 lb. Its built-in magnet and hanging strap let it attach to metal surfaces or a bag. It suits anyone wanting music at a desk, on a hike, or around the home without carrying a larger unit.

Runs cool and silent from a tiny battery

With only 5 watts of total power and a 70 decibel signal-to-noise ratio, the driver produces audible volume while generating negligible heat. There are no moving parts beyond the diaphragm, so operation stays completely silent when music is paused. The low draw lets the internal cell last through extended listening sessions.

LED lights and optional stereo pairing add

Four colour-changing LEDs cycle automatically inside the diamond-cut case, providing ambient illumination at night. Pairing two units enables true wireless stereo for wider soundstage. The package includes the speaker and the four LED modules; no extra cables or apps are required.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the FLS-196 to a metal surface and what is the common mistake?

The built-in magnet holds the speaker to any flat iron surface like a fridge; the step people miss is ensuring the surface is clean and flat so the magnet seats fully.

What part of the FLS-196 will need replacement first with regular use?

The internal rechargeable battery will degrade over time; the 5 W neodymium driver and 70 decibel SNR circuitry are solid-state and do not wear out.

At what volume level does the 5 watt output start to compress during a long playback session?

Sustained playback near maximum volume will hit the 5 watt thermal limit first, causing the amplifier to reduce output to protect the driver.
