The Vertiv Geist facility-side cable connects a rack power distribution unit to a three-phase branch circuit. It is built for data-centre and server-room installations that require a locking connection to a 30 A, 120/208 V WYE service. The NEMA L21-30P twist-lock plug secures the feed and prevents accidental disconnection under load.

30 A Capacity With 10/5 Gauge

The cable uses 10/5 conductors rated for 30 A continuous current and delivers up to 8.6 kW at 208 V. It comfortably handles dense IT loads such as multiple server chassis, storage arrays and network switches on a single circuit. Headroom diminishes when the combined draw approaches the 8.6 kW limit or when voltage drops on long branch runs reduce available power at the PDU inlet.

Twist-Lock Plug For Secure Rack Power

The NEMA L21-30P plug mates with a matching receptacle on the facility power panel and locks in place with a quarter turn.
