Flat-Plug Extension Cord for Tight Spaces

The LitStar LXE01-MB-CP-6 is a 6 ft white power extension cord with three grounded outlets rated for 13 amps and 1625 watts at 125 volts. Its 0.35 inch low-profile plug and 0.12 inch flat cable are designed to fit behind furniture and under carpets in home or office settings. The V-0 flame-retardant housing and 16/3 AWG copper conductors provide durability for daily use. UL listing confirms compliance with recognised safety standards.

Replaces Bulky Power Strips Blocking Wall Sockets

The 45-degree right-angled flat plug solves the common issue of a standard cord blocking the lower receptacle of a duplex wall outlet. Unlike traditional round power bars, the ultra-slim flat cable runs neatly under rugs or along baseboards to reduce tripping hazards. The jump is worth it when you need three outlets in a confined area behind a TV, bedframe, couch or sliding door where a conventional strip will not fit.

Check Outlet Orientation and Device Plug Sizes

Verify that the two front-facing and one rear-facing socket arrangement suits the plug shapes of your intended devices, as large adapters may still crowd adjacent outlets. Confirm the 6 foot length reaches your equipment from the wall socket without tension. Ensure the total connected load stays within the 13 amp and 1625 watt rating. The cord is rated for indoor use only.

Questions about this item

How thick is the flat cable so I can check if it fits under my carpet?

The flat cable measures 0.12 inches thick, making it slimmer than round power bars and comfortable to run under carpets or rugs.

Does the 45-degree right-angled plug block the lower wall outlet when inserted?

The 0.35-inch low-profile plug angles at 45 degrees so it fits into the top socket without covering the bottom receptacle on a standard duplex outlet.

Is the 16/3 AWG copper wire rated for continuous 13-amp loads like a space heater?

Yes, the 16/3 AWG copper conductors with PVC insulation handle up to 13 amps and 1625 watts at 125 volts for typical household appliances.
