Questions about this item

How hot does the Loctite 135285 Primer T 7471 get during continuous use?

The flash point is 17.6 Degrees F and the maximum application temperature is 59 Degrees F, so the product itself does not generate heat; store and use below those limits.

What adhesive system must I already have for this primer to work?

It is designed for anaerobic adhesives; the primer speeds cure on inactive metals and larger gaps when used with those threadlockers or retaining compounds.

Will this amber primer affect the green cure color on older anaerobic adhesive joints?

The cured color remains green per the specification; the amber primer evaporates in 30 to 70 seconds and does not alter the final appearance of existing bonds.
