Fabric Hot Handle Holder 2-pack

The Lodge HHBAN41 set includes two cotton holders that slide onto traditional teardrop handles. They protect hands from heat up to 350°F when moving skillets or griddles. The bandana-patterned fabric adds grip and colour to everyday stove-top cooking. Machine washable on a delicate cycle and air-dried for reuse.

Upgrade from bare handles or single mitts

Cloth holders replace the need to hunt for a potholder each time a pan moves from burner to table. The jump is worth it when you regularly lift 6.5 in, 8 in or 10.25 in Lodge cast iron and want both hands free. They are not for oven use, so bakers who leave handles in hot ovens need a different solution.

Simple slide-on fit

Each holder stretches over the teardrop handle and stays in place during lifting. Installation takes seconds with no tools. The main error is leaving the holder on the pan while cooking or in the oven, which can scorch the cotton. Wash on delicate, avoid bleach, and tumble dry low to keep the stitching intact.

Questions about this item

Will the 7.75 in holder fit the teardrop handle on my 6.5 in Lodge skillet?

Yes, it is designed for traditional Lodge teardrop handles such as those on the 6.5 in, 8 in and 10.25 in skillets.

How do I put the cotton holder on the handle without it slipping off?

Slide the fabric sleeve fully over the teardrop handle; the common mistake is leaving it on the pan while cooking or in the oven.

Can I machine-wash the red bandana holders after they get sooty?

Yes, wash on a delicate cycle, then air dry or tumble dry on low heat; do not use bleach.
