1 ft Cat6 UTP patch cables (10 pack)

This pack contains ten red Category 6 unshielded twisted-pair cables, each one foot long. They use 24 AWG stranded conductors with four pairs and are terminated to the T-568B wiring standard. Gold-plated contacts rated at 50 microns and moulded strain-relief boots with snag-free tabs protect the RJ45 plugs during installation. The cables are rated for 550 MHz bandwidth.

Suited for short rack or desk links.

These cables work well for patch-panel jumpers, switch-to-server links inside a rack, or tidy desk connections where a short red lead aids cable identification. The one-foot length is too short for wall-to-wall or floor-to-ceiling runs, so installers needing longer reach should choose a different length. The unshielded construction is not intended for environments that require shielded or outdoor-rated cable.

550 MHz bandwidth rating

The 550 MHz rating is the key figure that shows whether the cable meets the performance target for a given Category 6 installation. If the project specification calls for a higher verified bandwidth, this cable will not satisfy it.
