Portable Bluetooth Speaker Gray

The Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 4 is a compact wireless speaker built for listeners who want 360-degree sound in a rugged, waterproof package. It delivers up to 14 hours of playback on a single charge and reaches a maximum output of 86 dBC in normal mode or 87 dBC with Outdoor Boost engaged.

Simple Pairing Rugged Build

Pairing is a standard Bluetooth connection to any smartphone or tablet supporting A2DP; the speaker remembers the last device for quick reconnection. The IP67 rating means it survives immersion in one metre of water for 30 minutes, resists dust, and floats, so drops into a pool or sand are not fatal. A built-in bungee loop lets you hang it from a pack or shower caddy.

14-Hour Battery Decides Fit

The single figure that determines suitability is the 14-hour battery life between micro-USB charges. If your outings regularly exceed a full day without access to power, this speaker will fall short; for afternoon pool sessions, beach trips, or moving between rooms at home, the runtime matches the use case.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the WONDERBOOM 4 is performing at its 86 dBC normal or 87 dBC outdoor sound level after setup?

Press the Outdoor Boost button; the speaker tone changes and volume increases to the 87 dBC outdoor setting, while the default mode runs at 86 dBC.

What comes in the box with the gray WONDERBOOM 4 and what must I purchase separately?

The package includes the speaker with attached bungee loop and a printed Quick Start Guide; a micro-USB charging cable and power adapter are not included.

Which version of the WONDERBOOM 4 should I choose for 14-hour playback and IP67 waterproofing?

This single gray model (984-001879) already provides 14 hours of battery life, IP67 dust and water resistance, and floatability — no other capacity or version is offered.
