Compact Wireless Gaming Mouse

The Logitech G304 LIGHTSPEED is a lightweight wireless gaming mouse weighing 99 grams with dimensions of 116.6 mm by 62.15 mm by 38.2 mm. It connects via a LIGHTSPEED USB receiver and supports Windows 7 or later, macOS 10.13 or later, and ChromeOS. The HERO sensor delivers 200 to 12000 dpi with zero smoothing, acceleration, or filtering.

Simple Receiver Setup

Plug the included LIGHTSPEED USB receiver into an available port and the mouse pairs immediately without additional software. Onboard memory stores one profile so button assignments and dpi steps travel with the device. The compact shape suits smaller hands but may feel cramped for users who prefer a full-size palm grip.

Consistent Sensor Performance

The 32-bit ARM microprocessor maintains a 1000 Hz wireless reporting rate for a 1 ms response time during extended sessions. The sensor tracks at up to 400 IPS and 40 G acceleration on a G240 pad without smoothing. PTFE feet rated for 250 km of travel preserve glide consistency, while a single AA battery provides up to 250 hours of continuous use.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the LIGHTSPEED wireless link is running at its 1000 Hz report rate after pairing?

Open Logitech G HUB, select the G304 and check that the report rate reads 1000 Hz (1 ms) on the performance tab.

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a battery separately?

The package includes the G304 mouse, the LIGHTSPEED USB receiver and user documentation; one AA battery is required and is not supplied.

Should I pick the 12 000 dpi HERO sensor version or a lower-dpi model for competitive shooters?

The G304 only ships with the single HERO sensor adjustable from 200 to 12 000 dpi, so choose it and set the DPI steps you prefer in G HUB.
