10.2-inch iPad keyboard case

The Logitech Slim Folio combines a full-size keyboard with a protective folio for 7th, 8th and 9th generation iPad models. It adds a laptop-like typing experience while shielding the screen and back from everyday knocks. The case holds the tablet at a fixed 58-degree angle for typing and a lower 10-degree angle for reading. Two replaceable coin-cell batteries power the keyboard for up to four years with two hours of daily use.

Bluetooth LE pairing and power management

Pairing uses Bluetooth Low Energy so the keyboard connects automatically when the case is opened. No cables or charging ports are involved; simply insert the supplied coin cells and the smart power system puts the keyboard to sleep when the cover is closed. The only common issue is forgetting to replace the coin cells after several years, which leaves the keyboard unresponsive until fresh batteries are fitted.

Generation and model compatibility check

Verify that your iPad is a 7th, 8th or 9th generation 10.2-inch model before ordering; other sizes or generations will not fit the folio cut-outs or align with the keyboard layout. The case relies on the tablet’s Bluetooth LE support, which is standard on these generations. No additional software or drivers are required beyond the iOS shortcut keys printed on the top row.
