Six-foot C5 power cord with 18 AWG conductors rated 7 A at 125 V for North America
This 6.0 ft cable carries a straight C5 receptacle that fits the AC adapter bricks supplied with many HP, Compaq, Dell and Lenovo notebooks. It replaces a lost or damaged lead so the charger can reach a North American wall outlet. The 18 AWG conductors are rated for 7 A at 125 V and the assembly carries UL listing E55349. It is not suited for devices that require a C13 or C7 connector.
As a passive mains lead the cord generates no audible noise and adds no measurable heat to the system. Its 18 AWG copper conductors handle the adapter's input current without voltage drop over the 1.8 m length. The PVC jacket remains flexible at normal room temperatures. No active cooling or power management is involved.
The package contains only the single black power cord; no additional cables, adapters, ties or software are included. The UL mark and the Longwell part number LS-18M are printed on the jacket for quick verification. Buyers needing a longer reach or a right-angle C5 plug will need a separate accessory.

Align the three-pin C5 plug with the clover-leaf inlet on the adapter and push straight in until it clicks; do not force it upside-down or you can bend the pins.
Replace it if the jacket shows cracks, the C5 receptacle feels loose, or the NEMA 5-15P prongs are bent or discoloured from heat.
The cord is rated for 7 A at 125 V; sustained loads above 7 A will cause the 18 AWG conductors to overheat first.
