What it is and who it's for

The LOOFHIEN M01 is a pocket-sized AM/FM radio weighing 75 grams and measuring 4.59 by 1.1 by 2.3 inches. It receives FM signals from 87 to 108 MHz and AM signals from 520 to 1710 kHz. The unit runs on two AAA batteries that are not supplied and includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack for private listening.

Installation and common issues

Open the battery compartment, insert two AAA cells observing the polarity markings, and switch on. No tools or software are required. Reception depends on antenna orientation and local signal strength; weak stations may need repositioning. The headphone jack accepts standard 3.5 mm 3-pin plugs; forcing an incompatible connector can damage the socket.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Walkers, campers and emergency-preparedness kits benefit from the lightweight, battery-powered design and clear speaker output. Buyers who want more storage, digital tuning presets, Bluetooth streaming, rechargeable power or weather-alert functions should look at a different device.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the LOOFHIEN M01 is receiving stations correctly after inserting batteries?

Tune across the AM band from 520 to 1710 kHz and the FM band from 87 to 108 MHz; clear audio on multiple stations shows the tuner and antenna are working as intended.

What does the package include and what must I supply myself for the LOOFHIEN M01?

The box contains the radio and an earphone; you must provide two AAA dry batteries, which are not included, to power the unit.

Which version of the LOOFHIEN M01 should I choose for general listening?

Only one version exists — the M01 with AM 520-1710 kHz and FM 87-108 MHz coverage, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and 75 g weight — so no capacity or band choice is needed.
