2.5 to 3.5 SATA SAS Adapter

The LORDWORLD EZConvert MB882SP-1S-3B converts a 2.5 inch SATA or SAS drive into a 3.5 inch form factor. It accepts drives from 7mm to 15mm in height and supports SATA 6Gbps or single channel SAS operation. The open air design provides airflow around the installed drive.

Suits single channel SAS or SATA builds

This adapter fits builders who need to mount a 2.5 inch SATA SSD or HDD into a standard 3.5 inch drive bay. It also serves users with a SAS host requiring single channel SAS functionality. Systems needing dual channel SAS support cannot use this adapter.

Single channel SAS host requirement

SAS operation requires a compatible SAS host controller to function. The bracket handles SATA 6Gbps and single channel SAS signals through the same connector. Without a SAS host the drive will operate in SATA mode only.
