Rugged backplane cage for 5.25-inch bays

The LORDWORLD 2-bay backplane cage mounts in a standard external 5.25-inch drive bay and is built from full metal for durability in medical, military, media-server and industrial PC environments. It accepts two 2.5-inch SAS or SATA drives plus one slim optical disk drive.

Dual-channel SAS 12Gbps and SATA 6Gbps support

The backplane provides dual-channel connectivity that runs at up to SAS 12Gbps or SATA 6Gbps, so drive performance is limited only by the installed drives and host controller. Two 4-pin power connectors supply the cage, drives and slim ODD from the system power supply.

Holds two drives from 5 mm to 15 mm thick

Drive trays accommodate 2.5-inch drives with heights of 5 mm, 7 mm, 9.5 mm, 12.5 mm and 15 mm, covering most common SSDs and hard drives. The single slim ODD tray fits one standard slimline optical drive; builders needing more than two drive bays or a full-height optical drive will need a different solution.
