Questions about this item

What does 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz mean for my monitor?

The switch passes a native 4K picture at 60 frames per second, so text stays sharp and motion stays smooth on a compatible DisplayPort display.

Which DisplayPort version does the switch use and what bandwidth limit applies?

The unit carries a 4K 60 Hz signal over DisplayPort, matching the bandwidth needed for 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz without compression.

How much desk space and cabling does the box need?

The switch includes two DisplayPort cables and two USB cables, plus three USB 2.0 ports for keyboard, mouse and a flash drive, so everything connects directly without extra hubs.
