LORDWORLD

LORDWORLD Down Angled 90 Degree Cat 5e Extension Cable 50cm

SKU CH-167W-TVVBT

A 50 cm Cat 5e extension cable with a down-angled 90 degree RJ45 male-to-female connector for tight spaces

  • Down-angled 90° plug eases tight-space routing
  • 50 cm length extends any Ethernet patch cord
  • Shielded 8P8C RJ45 connectors reduce signal interference
  • Cat 5e rating supports standard Gigabit networks
  • Male-to-female design adds reach without replacing cables

Down-Angled 90° Extension

This Cat 5e cable adds 50 cm of reach while routing the connector downward at a right angle. The 8P8C shielded plug fits tight spaces behind desks, panels or rack gear where a straight jack would foul cables or doors. It accepts any standard patch cord for a quick link extension.

Shielded FTP Construction

Foil and braid screening protect the twisted pairs from EMI in busy equipment rooms. The short 50 cm run keeps insertion loss low and the angled relief reduces strain on the host port during everyday moves. No external power or active electronics are involved.

Plug-and-Play Compatibility

The male-to-female layout extends an existing drop without re-termination or configuration. Shielded RJ45 housing maintains grounding continuity through the joint. Buyers needing longer runs, outdoor rating or Cat 6a bandwidth will need a different cable.

Questions about this item

How do I plug the down-angled 90-degree RJ45 male end into a tight rear-I/O port without bending the cable sharply?

Route the cable so the 90-degree bend points downward, then press the male plug straight into the port; the angled body keeps the patch cord running parallel to the chassis instead of sticking out.

Will the shielded FTP/STP/UTP construction and gold-plated contacts need any cleaning or re-termination over time?

The shielded 8P8C connectors and gold-plated contacts are maintenance-free; just keep the female port free of dust and reseat the plug if a link drops.

What is the practical length limit before this 50 cm extension adds noticeable latency or signal loss on a gigabit link?

At 50 cm the cable adds negligible insertion loss; the Cat 5e channel limit is far beyond this length, so sustained gigabit traffic passes without degradation.
