Holds two M.2 NVMe SSDs from 30 to 80 mm via PCIe 4.0 x8 with tool-less trays and an aluminium heatsink lid
This adapter card adds two M.2 NVMe SSD slots to a desktop system via a single PCIe 4.0 x8 expansion slot. It accepts drives from 30mm to 80mm long in 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280 form factors. The single-width, full-height design fits standard PCIe slots and also works in x16 slots. It is built for users who want fast local storage without occupying drive bays.
An aluminum heatsink lid and included thermal pad draw heat away from both SSDs during prolonged read or write sessions. The tool-less tray and quick-release knob let you swap drives without shutting down the system when the platform supports hot-plug. Active cooling inside the case helps maintain consistent throughput for heavy workloads such as video editing or large dataset processing.
The x8 electrical interface caps total throughput to the PCIe 4.0 x8 maximum, so two high-end drives share that bandwidth pool. If the host slot only provides x4 lanes, the combined ceiling drops accordingly. Systems without PCIe 4.0 support will operate at the lower generation speed. This card does not add RAID functionality; drive management depends on the operating system or motherboard firmware.

The card includes an aluminum heatsink lid and a thermal pad that contact each M.2 NVMe SSD, providing passive heat dissipation for sustained operation.
A PCIe 4.0 x8 or x16 slot with at least eight CPU lanes wired to it is needed; x4-only slots will limit the second drive to x4 or disable it.
The card is backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 x16 slots; both drives remain detected and operate at PCIe 3.0 speeds.
