Tool-Free M.2 NVMe Enclosure

This enclosure accepts M.2 NVMe PCIe M-Key SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths. It connects via USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 at up to 10 Gbps and includes both Type-C and Type-A cables. The aluminium shell and two thermal pads help manage drive temperature during use. No tools are required for installation.

Sustained Transfer Behaviour

The JMS583 controller supports UASP and Trim to maintain consistent throughput and protect SSD longevity under continuous workloads. Backward compatibility with USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.0 allows operation on older ports at their native speeds. Thunderbolt 3 hosts are also supported. The blue LED indicates active data transfer so you can monitor sustained activity.

M-Key NVMe Only Compatibility

This adapter works exclusively with M.2 NVMe PCIe M-Key drives; it does not support B-Key, B+M-Key, AHCI, mSATA, Wi-Fi cards or capture cards. Buyers with SATA M.2 SSDs or non-M.2 form factors must choose a different enclosure. NVMe SSD is not included and must be formatted on the host system before use.
